About

I’m James Farrington, a junior Graphic Design student at the Rhode Island School of Design in Providence, Rhode Island. Originally from New Hampshire, I’m primarily interested in interactive design, with a focus on web design and game design. Through both coursework and applied projects, I’ve developed experience across a range of graphic design disciplines.

I currently work as a layout designer for post-, the Brown Daily Herald’s magazine, where I design spreads for weekly digital issues. In addition, I work as a gym monitor at RISD’s Student Fitness Center.

Before college, I was an avid oil painter—a practice I still value and return to. Outside of design, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my family, weightlifting, and playing video games.
